AS. Parent's team
Our laboratory, which initially focused on the neuroendocrine control of puberty has now developed a line of research on developmental neuroendocrine disruption. The foetal and neonatal periods appear to be extremely sensitive to the effect of environmental contaminants such as endocrine disrupting chemicals.
We are focusing on 3 main questions:
- Effects of Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) on development of the neuroendocrine control of reproduction
- Effects of EDCs on cerebral cortex and hippocampal development
- Identification of early placental markers of developmental exposure to EDCs
