production. AMHYSPIN’s core business
is to develop innovative antibodies
production methods to meet industrial
needs such as:
- Rescue degenerating hybridoma cells;
- Increase the amount of mAb produced
by cell (up to 700 %);
- Allow to overcome easier the
development of poor producers up to
commercialization;
- Enhance the useful duration of bio-
reactors life (up to 350 %);
- Reduce production costs;
- Decrease waste and save energy;
- Avoid animal sufering;
- Avoid mAb ofshore production;
- Make downstream processing easy;
- Allow economies of scale.

New companies have moved into the GIGA1 building : Targetome, Amhyspin and Novevita.
Other companies should still join them in 2013.
TARGETOME
Targetome is a biotech company developing afnity-based targeted therapies against unmet medical
needs with initial focus on pancreatic cancer and liver metastases.
Thanks to its innovative biomarker discovery platform, Targetome is also ofering services related to
the identifcation and validation of proteomics biomarkers, and biologics generation, for therapeutic or
diagnostic purpose. Our platform is based on a patented “biomarker discovery” technology, targeting
“surface accessible” protein biomarkers using proprietary protein tagging and separation techniques,
along with mass spectrometry (MRM) identifcation. We are using this platform to select novel highly
specifc biomarkers, used as targets for our mAb development strategy, or to provide it as a service for
biotech/pharma/diagnostic customers

NOVEVITA
Novevita is an enzyme developer and producer for specifc food and pharma processes. Enzymes
have the ability to catalyze reactions under very mild conditions with a very high degree of substrate
specifcity, in that way the formation of by-products or waste. Several reactions catalyzed are a number
of very complex chemical transformations between biological macromolecules, which are not or very
difcultly feasible with the ordinary methods of organic chemistry. Novevita produces principally Isome-
rases. An isomerase is a class of enzymes that catalyze geometric or structural changes within a molecule
to form a single product. The reactions do not involve a net change in the concentrations of compounds
other than the substrate and the product. One of a group of enzymes that catalyzes the conversion of
one isomer into another
