The facility also offers various cytometry services from simple to multiple immunostaining analysis (using conventional or spectral detection) and 4-ways cell sorting. The core facility’s main goal is to assist researchers in utilizing these powerful tools to address their research questions. It specializes in R&D in radiochemistry, preclinical imaging (PET, CT and 9.4T MRI), and clinical imaging, including electrophysiology with EEG and TMS, PET, and MRI (3T and 7T). It also offers data analysis facilities. The laboratories are overseen by a Principal Investigator, while logisticians/technologists, nurses, technicians, and secretaries supervise the facilities and equipment. The logisticians also participate in technical developments and scientific applications. A team of experts assists investigators in the design and construction of a wide variety of custom viral vectors and produces small batches of high-quality research grade vectors. The facility also offers stable cell lines for efficient gene expression and knock-down gene expression by shRNA (inducible or not), but also for gene editing using CRISPR/Cas9 technology. In addition to standard tinctorial and immunohistochemical staining, the platform offers tailor-made services for most histological requests and types of samples (including firm tissues such as bone and cartilage).
