GIGA Doctoral School Selection 2022 We have received 130 applications from 42 countries all over the world – 41 from Asia, 29 from Middle East, 27 from Africa, 27 from Europe, and 6 from North and South America. The top 5 master’s degree specializations were microbiology/molecular biology, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, biomedical engineering and biomedical sciences. 34 Online interviews were conducted, 14 applicants were invited to the recruitment day.
