New big equipment
The GIGA's Flow Cytometry and Cell Imaging platform has just received two state-of-the-art spatial transcriptomics instruments from 10X Genomics: the Visium CytAssist and the Xenium. These advanced tools open up new possibilities for space-resolved gene expression analysis, enabling researchers to explore cellular microenvironments with unprecedented precision.
The In vivo Imaging platform has just received a Skope system. This system complements the 7T MRI equipment and enhances image quality by recording effective dynamic magnetic fields during acquisition and using this information in appropriate reconstruction algorithms. This will enable in vivo studies with unrivalled resolution, taking into account the vagaries of physiological movements of the tissues of interest.
These major investments were made possible thanks to ERDF funding (2021-2027 programming, WALIMAGIN portfolio).
