On November 17th 3pm, we will be visited by Lorenzo Galluzzi, Associate Professor at Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States). His talk will be held at Leon frederic auditorium, +5 of Giga Tower.

 

Lorenzo Galluzzi is best known for his major experimental and conceptual contributions in the fields of cell death, autophagy, tumor metabolism, and tumor immunology. In particular, he has shed crucial light on the links between the adaptive responses of cancer cells to stress and the activation of a clinically relevant antitumor immune response in the context of chemotherapy and radiotherapy
