Marjorie Bardiau, PhD in Microbiology, has been working as a research librarian at the Health Library since 2019. She teaches information literacy, covering topics from searching for scientific literature to publication ethics, and is now specialized in scientific media literacy education. She also leads the Teaching and Research Support Unit at ULiège Library. In addition, she contributes to the production of systematic reviews for various research teams in the health sciences. Her research interests and projects include research evaluation, publication ethics, and Graphic Medicine—the use of health-related graphic novels to foster soft skills in health professionals, such as empathy toward patients.
Christophe Dony, PhD in Modern Languages and Literatures, works as a liaison and research librarian at the University of Liège where he teaches information literacy classes and participates in various Open Science and scholarly communications projects. He is the creator of the Open Science game The Openscientometer and has co-developed Compass to Publish, a free online tool to help researchers identify possible predatory journals. His research interests include open science, bibliodiversity, and research evaluation.
Adrien Mathy, PhD in Linguistics, works as a research librarian and lead of the Open Science services at ULiège Library. His research topics include the historicity, materialities, regimes of enunciation, and the institutions that shape the circulation of documents. This interest also informs his professional commitment to open science, bibliodiversity, and epistemic justice, with particular attention to neurodiversity. He is also engaged in the field of digital humanities, where he develops tools and computational methods to support researchers in their work.
