Pr. Stein Silva is Chairman of Intensive Care at the University of Toulouse (France) and co-driector of French National Neurocritical Care Teaching Program. He heads the Intensive Care Unit and the Level I Trauma Center at Toulouse University Hospital, where he also coordinates the institutional Data Warehouse. He co-leads the TRACER research team at the Toulouse Neuroimaging Center (ToNIC lab). His research focuses on acute severe brain injury, integrating multimodal neuroimaging, deep immune profiling, and AI methods to develop clinically relevant neuroprognostication tools and personalized therapeutic strategies to enhance consciousness recovery. He actively contributes to national and international collaborations bridging clinical intensive care and advanced neuroscience.
