Biography: Fabio Minazzi began his career in the early 1990s at Philips, working on the CD-i (CD-Interactive) project, the first consumer console for interactive media. He later founded Binari Sonori, the world’s first company specializing in multilingual audio production for interactive media. After the company joined the Keywords Studios Group in 2014, he led the Group’s Localization Division, guiding the expansion that positioned the Group as a global leader in games localization.
Passionate for sustainable innovation and global communication, in 2022 Fabio joined Translated where he now directs AI voice applications, with special focus on the Voice for Purpose service, aimed at providing AI voices to non-verbal people.
In the academia Fabio Minazzi developed and taught university-level courses at Università Statale di Milano, Computer Science Department, covering Digital Signal Processing, Multimedia Technologies and Software Internationalization and Localization, while as a public speaker he spearheaded and coordinated industry conferences and roundtables focused on languages and cultures in games research and development.
He published articles on interactive media production, culturalization, AI voice development.
