Biography
Malik Hamaïdia, PhD, is a post-doctoral medical scientist at the GIGA Cancer Institute of the University of Liège (Belgium). In 2017, he received his PhD from the faculty of science of the University of Liège, with highest honours for his work on epigenetic regulation of macrophage activation and immunoediting activity in mesothelioma. His scientific focus is on understanding the role of the innate immune response in shaping anti-tumor immunity and translating these findings into effective immunotherapies. Since 2023, I exert officially the role of lecturer responsible for theorical and practical courses on applied immunology for master students in Uliege.
