Biography
Agustina Aragón Daud is a doctoral student in Medical Science at the Physiology of Cognition Lab at the GIGA CRC Human Imaging, Department of Medicine, University of Liège, and the Applied Machine Learning Lab at the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine, Brain and Behaviour (INM-7), Forschungszentrum Jülich. Her research involves exploring mental states and brain dynamics utilizing machine learning, particularly looking to decode Mind Blanking (a particular mental state) from brain activity.
Agustina holds a formal background in Psychology and Neuroscience from Universidad Favaloro (Argentina) and has built expertise in computational neuroscience, notably during her pre-doctoral internship at the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience in Berlin, where she worked at Charité Universitätsmedizin.With experience spanning diverse sectors, she has contributed to projects in government (Ministry of Economy in Argentina, Behavioral Science), industry (interning at IBM as part of the MSCA program), and academia.
