Memory constitutes the repertoire of all our experiences, shapes who we are and allows us to plan for the future. Until recently, cognitive neuroscience research has essentially examined the mechanisms that allow us to remember events that we have experienced. Complementary to this approach, the functions of memory and its role in the creation and maintenance of social relationships have attracted growing interest from memory researchers lately. The fourth edition of the international conference "Cognitive neuroscience of memory: Recollection, familiarity and novelty detection" will bring together the neuroscience and social approaches to memory, through several renowned researchers specialized in the study of memory. The set of presentations will cover the behavioral and brain mechanisms underlying individual and collective memory. Young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers will also have the opportunity to present their work (talks and posters).

The last edition of the conference, in March 2023, gathered 78 participants from 13 countries.
