Laurent Reber did his PhD at the University of Strasbourg, France. He moved to Stanford University for his postdoc in the lab of Steve Galli, where he worked on the role of mast cells and basophils in allergic disorders. He joined the French INSERM in 2016, first at Institut Pasteur and since 2019 as a team leader at the Center of Pathophysiology Toulouse-Purpan (CPTP). He is a specialist of allergic shock (anaphylaxis), antibodies and Fc receptors.
